In accordance with our corporate values, IIC has always been committed to being a good corporate citizen. IIC’s commitment to corporate responsibility includes a commitment to sustainable business practices and to support of our local community.
Sustainability
IIC has instituted a corporate green committee tasked with documenting IIC’s sustainable business practices and reducing our corporate impact upon the environment. IIC’s green committee has been responsible for implementing the following initiatives:
- Carbon footprint baseline
- Corporate recycling/waste reduction program
- Green purchasing
- Energy use monitoring and energy efficiency improvements
IIC’s green committee is now focused on setting energy use and carbon emissions reduction goals and implementing plans to achieve them.
Community Support
IIC has regularly sought opportunities to share corporate success with the local community. This has included monetary and in-kind support (IT support, use of training facilities, etc.) for local human services agencies, local arts agencies, and local and regional business development organizations. Over the past five years, IIC has donated nearly $100,000 to support local community organizations. IIC is proud to support:
