ISPL Certified to International Standard for Quality Management Systems
09/12/2008 - Poughkeepsie, NY – Indotronix International Corporation (IIC) today announced that IIC Systems Private Limited (ISPL), the company’s offshore software development subsidiary, has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality management system (QMS). ISPL`s certification indicates that the company’s QMS conforms to all of the requirements of this internationally-recognized quality standard. ISPL achieved this certification after an extensive assessment audit conducted by AQA International. ISPL`s certificate of assessment (AQA International certificate #9250) applies to all activity within the scope of ISPL`s QMS, including the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software products and solutions. Prior to achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification, ISPL had been certified at CMM Level 3 for software development process maturity.
In announcing ISPL`s certification, IIC President and CEO Babu Mandava stated, “This achievement is an important milestone in IIC’s plan to become a premier provider of offshore software development services.
