5/26/2010 -- Poughkeepsie, NY – Indotronix International Corporation (IIC) today announced that the company’s offshore subsidiary, IIC Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. (IIC India), recently completed an appraisal of their India operations against the Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) version 1.2. This appraisal, conducted by QAI India, resulted in IIC India achieving a CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating. This maturity level rating covers IIC India’s software development and related support processes and indicates that these processes are effectively managed and defined. IIC India’s maturity level rating is valid through March 12, 2013.

 

In announcing this achievement, IIC President and CEO Babu Mandava stated, “The successful conclusion of this appraisal marks an important milestone on our corporate quality journey. As IIC plans to rely heavily on IIC India to execute software development activities on behalf of our customers, our ability to demonstrate adherence to internationally recognized standards through independent assessments of our process capabilities will be essential in proving our commitment to achieving excellence in the delivery of IT solutions.” Babu concluded, “I am proud of the efforts of the IIC India team to achieve this goal and look forward to future achievements as we continue down the path of process improvement.”

 

IIC India’s achievement of the CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating is the latest in a series of successful corporate quality initiatives. In addition to the CMMI rating, IIC India is also ISO 9001:2000 certified for software development and ISO 9001:2008 certified for BPO services. IIC (U.S.) also maintains ISO 9001:2008 certification for IIC-managed software development activities.
