Delivery Methodology

A Robust Process Refined by Years of Experience
As a long term provider of IT staffing services, IIC has established a successful track record of providing high quality, reliable technical resources that are thoroughly screened to meet customer requirements. Our success has been built upon an effective staffing methodology that has been refined through the application of continual process improvement over more than 20 years of experience. IIC’s IT staffing methodology encapsulates account management as well as the entire resourcing lifecycle, from receipt of a customer requirement to placement of the resource at the project location. IIC’s staffing methodology has been refined to ensure that IIC deploys consultants who are ready to contribute to our customers’ technical projects immediately upon deployment. IIC’s staffing methodology consists of:
Account Management
IIC establishes dedicated account management teams for each of our customers. The account management team consists of a primary account manager who acts as the single point of contact for the customer, supported by regional account managers, as necessary, and a dedicated recruitment team. The account management team size is established based upon parameters including anticipated staffing volume and the geographic scope of service. The account management team is optimized based upon actual staffing volumes and achievement of defined performance metrics (including SLAs). The account management team is supported by IIC dedicated back office support team.
Requirements Processing
Upon receipt of a customer requirement, IIC’s account manager enters the information into our resource management system. This triggers an e-mail to the dedicated recruiting team. The recruiting team solicits candidate resumes via our standard recruitment channels, including our internal candidate database, our recruiting team’s candidate pipeline (active/passive candidates and referrals), Internet job boards, and, if required, sub-tier suppliers. After receiving all candidate submissions, the recruiting manager and the account manager evaluate the candidates and prepare a shortlist to go through the candidate evaluation process.
Candidate Screening
IIC’s recruiting manager is responsible for ensuring that shortlisted candidates are evaluated according to IIC’s screening process. This process consists of the following steps:
1.   Education/Work Experience Verification: records and reference checks
2.     General Applicant Screening: initial interview to evaluate personal skills (communication/attitude), knowledge of the business aspects of the prior work, and broad technical skills (including certifications).
3.     Applicant Technical Assessment: detailed technical evaluation conducted by senior in-house technical staff/subject matter experts (supplemented by outside experts, when necessary) supplemented with formal testing, if required.
4.     Background Checks
5.     Evaluation of Fit to Requirement: overall fit to the customer’s requirement is asessed based on the candidate’s: technical fit to requirement, communication skills, location relative to job, bill rate, and any special considerations (e.g., specific domain knowledge, prior experience with customer, etc.).

Based on the results of the screening, the account manager submits the appropriate number of top-scoring candidates to the customer for selection.

Consultant Onboarding
After a candidate is selected, the following process is followed to bring the candidate on assignment:

1. Complete required verification activities (e.g., background check/drug screening), if not completed already
2. Execute employment agreement with candidate, if necessary.
3. Assign employee to IIC manager
4. Complete required IIC tax/legal/immigration paperwork, if necessary
5. Conduct IIC orientation (IIC policies/procedures)
6. Complete customer required documentation (e.g., Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement), if any
7. Conduct customer orientation (customer work environment/policies/procedures)
8. Introduce employee to assignment (work location/client manager), in person if practical
