Services Development

Indotronix worked with TxVia/Google Wallet for 2+ years, developing integrations for their platform.

Background

TxVia (later Google Wallet) was created to provide a broad range of payment processing options for its customers (numbering approximately 100 million accounts) via a “platform as a service” delivery model.  Under this model, individual customers could have the TxVia/Google Wallet platform customized to provide the specific payment card processing services they required.

Challenges

Because the team was to be deployed at Indotronix’s offshore facility in India, resources needed intensive initial training in order to learn the technical details of the platform and to establish best practices and procedures for customizing the platform as per TxVia customer requirements.

Objectives

Indotronix was selected by TxVia/Google Wallet to be the vendor responsible for implementing platform customization services as required by customers.

Services Provided

Indotronix initially deployed two resources who evolved to become project leaders as the team expanded to a peak of approximately 25 resources, including project managers, analysts, developers, and testers. The Indotronix TxVia/Google Wallet team delivered 6 customer integrations as well as 4 vendor integrations to the TxVia platform over the course of 2+ years.  These integrations included customization of the platform as well as the development of new functionality. All work was conducted in compliance with PCI DSS requirements and was completed to the full satisfaction of TxVia/Google Wallet and their customers.

Our relationship with TxVia continued until TxVia was acquired by Google.  We continued to provide services under Google until they decided to exit the payment card processing platform business.  Indotronix was retained for approximately 6 additional months to assist Google’s existing customers in their transition to alternative payment processors.
