The primary function of this role will be the optimization of the profitability of service parts. The duties of this role will entail the analysis of the gross margin of service parts families to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve profit margins through cost reduction and/or price realization actions. Such projects will require the role to coordinate with engineering and purchasing to identify value/cost drivers, coordinate through third party consultants the collection of market-based component pricing data, and collabo*** with the Parts Pricing team to enact recommended changes to service parts pricing.
The role will also be responsible for providing monthly summary reports of the service parts portfolio financial results, including gross revenue, gross profit and status of margin improvement projects.
Required Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications (must have strong Excel skills, including pivot tables)
Power-BI (dashboard creation)
General business acumen
Familiarity with mechanical drivetrain components is desired
Desired Soft Skills:
Organized and process-oriented approach to completing tasks
Ability to summarize and present findings of analysis in a clear, concise manner
