Job Description:
- Operate and maintain all utility plant equipment, including high-temperature hot water generators, centrifugal chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, and HVAC equipment.
- Record, review, and interpret equipment and system readings, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- 2 years of HVAC trade school or equivalent certification.
- High school degree or equivalency.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
- EPA CFC Universal certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications.
- Proficiency in hand and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls issues.
- Familiarity with building management systems, computerized alarm and control systems, and general computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work from aerial lift platforms and ladders.
