Indotronix is seeking a Onsite Job - Precision Electronics Assembly / Operator - Weekend Shift for a Job Opportunity in VA-Manassas
Job Description :
Manassas Microwave Factory is seeking a Mechanical Assembly operator to fabricate complex microwave/RF Integrated circuit modules and sub assemblies by following specific instructions.
Specific Responsibilities include one or more of the following: Wire bond, Seals, Temp Cycle, Burn In, Leak Checks, etc... for the weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Currently tentative shift start time is noon to mid night, but it can be adjusted. Work 36 hours will get paid for 40 hours.
Will be on training Monday - Friday via 9/80 schedule to start out with for approximately 6 months or longer before assign to weekend shift to work independently.
Required Skill Set :
Mechanical Assembly requires:
1) Good hand dexterity
2) Ability to perform assembly tasks while looking through a microscope (10-60X magnification )
3) Ability to follow detailed instructions on a computer system.
4) Ability to train on and operate manufacturing equipment
5) good communication skills, ability to work as a strong team member and contributor.
At least 2-3 years working in a manufacturing environment as an operator, with a strong quality management system, ability to use work under a microscope for extended period of time to perform certain functions.
Ability to read and understand drawings and work instruction .
Ability to use Microsoft office products
Ability to operate semi-automatic manufacturing tools.
Desired Skills Set :
1)The candidate has knowledge of or experience with wire bond either Auto-bonding or Manual bonding. 2) Previous Electronic Assembly experience is preferred. 3) Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 and/or IPC workmanship standards.
Previous experience with electronic experience is desired.
Education Qualification :
Minimum High school diploma
2 years Associate degree in a technical field such as electronics and manufacturing
