Scrum Master and Release Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVES
Agile Scrum Master cum Release Manager with strong Agile & configuration management skills
for Aderis project
II. Job duties and responsibilities
1. Release Planning and Coordination:
A. Collaborate with stakeholders to define release scope, objectives, and schedules.
B. Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases, ensuring alignment with business
goals and priorities.
C. Facilitate communication and coordination between development, QA, operations,
and other teams involved in the release process.
2. Agile Release Management:
A. Implement Agile principles and practices to enable frequent, incremental software
releases.
B. Work closely with development teams to ensure that releases are well-defined,
achievable, and meet quality standards.
C. Drive continuous improvement in the release process, incorporating feedback and
lessons learned.
3. Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
A. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the release process, and develop
mitigation strategies.
B. Monitor release progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address any issues
that arise.
C. Collaborate with teams to resolve conflicts and ensure smooth and successful
software releases.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
A. Create and maintain release documentation, including release notes, deployment
instructions, and known issues.
B. Generate reports and metrics related to release management, providing insights and
visibility to stakeholders.
C. Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of release processes, tools, and
configurations.
5. General Project management

A. Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on
track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
B. Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing, and summarizing relevant
information.
C. Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
D. Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on
schedule and budget.
E. Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope,
allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and
indicating tests and maintenance.
F. Participating in and supervising each stage of the project.
G. Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
H. Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as
possible.
I. Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
J. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks
and projects.

III. QUALIFICATION
1. STUDIES:
i BE or MBA in related to information technology, software development management, software
engineering, or a related field
2. TRAINING COURSES:
i Agile Scrum Master trainings & certifications preferred
3. EXPERIENCE:
i Overall, 7 to 8 years of experience in IT industry including in project management, release
management, configuration management, software development, and DevOps using Agile
methodologies.
ii Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience as Scrum Master & Release manager in software
development projects with AWS cloud, Phyton, Angular, DotNet core stacks
iii Experience of cloud application development using AWS & Agile experience with Notion tool
iv Solid experience as a Release Manager or similar role, with a focus on software release
management.
v Strong understanding and practical application of Agile development principles and practices.
vi Hands-On experience in AWS CI/CD tools and services, such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS
CodeBuild, and AWS CodeDeploy.
vii Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub, including branching and
merging strategies.
viii Working experience of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools,
with expertise in Jenkins.
4. KNOWLEDGE:
i Having Knowledge of Project Management, Agile methodology, SDLC, Release Management &
Configuration management
5. ABILITIES AND SKILS:

i Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
ii Work with Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other
cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
iii Participate in business requirements sessions with client stakeholders.
iv Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
v Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques.
vi Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
vii Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
viii Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
ix Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
x Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate effective cross-functional
coordination.
xi Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
xii Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple releases simultaneously.
xiii Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and quality assur
