Primary Purpose:
? Administers and manages enterprise directory domains, the secure? directory environment, and the top tier
suppor? ting infrastructure. Builds, implements, and secures the top? -levels/tiers of the directories, the connecting
%0? D systems, and all cloud-based directories and applications.? Installs and manages hardware, operating systems,
? applications, backups, storage, VMs, and other support? ing systems in the top two security levels/tiers. Works cl? osely
with the security team to review, build%2? C and establish high security around processes, enterprise app? lications, and all
systems utilizing directory se? rvices or network resources.
Major Responsibilities? :
Configures, installs and supports the organiz? ation’s complex secure directory solutions and the secur? e level/tier
environment. Analyzes business requi? rements and creates technical recommendations. Evaluates new and?
existing software products. Develops plan, rec? ommends solutions and provides for maintenance, testing,
documentation and training for the operating systems,%?20hardware, and directory solutions.
Installs, ? implements, and administers all necessary hardware, VMs, Ope? rating Systems, applications such as: MDT,
SC? OM, SCCM, DCs, SSO, encryption, virus scanning, loggin? g applications. Implements backup and recovery
pr? ocedures for the top two security level/tiers of the organiz? ation’s environment. Facilitates disaster recovery andbusiness continuance configurations and procedures. ? Ensures capacity monitoring processes are followed and
? initiates corrective activities. Manages and establishes the? Known Good Media process, Privileged Access
Wo? rkstations, smart card credentials, encryption, IPSEC, serve? r firewalls, and all other security procedures.
? Works with the senior engineers to establish secure authentic? ation processes to the directories using direct
c? onnections, ADFS, cloud ADFS, or SSO technology. Follows%2? 0strict top security guidelines and processes to ensure
deep directory protection, top level/tier systems prote? ction, connecting systems security, and applications.
Recommends improvements to current technical architecture.%?3Cbr /> Provides support to workstation and server admini? stration teams with respect to the ESAE tiered environment. Assists in capacity monitoring and planning process? design and review. Ensures team follows change managementprocesses and makes suggestions on change management? process improvements.
Provides support as a te? chnical escalation point with vendors and staff to coordinate ? application software and
hardware changes. Prioriti? zes problems and issues as needed. Works collaboratively with%?20vendors at technical and
management level to re? solve problems and manage escalation.
Initiates r? oot-cause analysis and solves complex application software and%2? 0hardware problems related to directory
solutions.%?20Tracks and trends problems and makes recommendations towards r? esolution. Collabo***s with
technical staff for ? problem resolution of more complex software and hardware problem? s, to include wireless
technology environment and? complex printer issues.
Assists in reviews of%?20capital and operating expenditure requests to ensure configurati? on and ancillary requirements
are correct and com? ply with AAH technical environment standards.

Education Required:
Bachelor%?26#39;s Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Scien? ce or related field.
Experience Required:

Advanced knowledge of Directories (LDAP%2? C AD), operating systems, vendor-specific environments, cl? oud directory
and its interfaces, group policy ? objects, ADFS, and Single Sign On technology.
? Advanced knowledge of systems administration and the inter-re? lationships between application code and server
ope? rating systems and desktop operating systems.
Adv? anced knowledge of hardware and software as used in the top%?20security level/tier setting.
Demonst***d underst? anding of the KGM, tiered security, IPSEC, and PAW princ? iples consistent with Microsoft’s
Cybersecuri? ty Guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to use PowerS? hell and Microsoft’s server management tools.
