Indotronix is seeking a Hybrid- Database Admin (Exadata) in Phoenix, AZ, Pittsburgh, PA Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, Alabama, and Dallas, TX locations

Position Title: Database Admin (Exadata)

Location/Remote/Workspace:

Location: HYBRID in Order of: Phoenix, AZ, Pittsburgh, PA Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, Alabama, and Dallas, TX

Duration: Contract to hire

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Exadata Administrator Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of full stack Exadata support

Strong analytical and communication skills

Full stack patching of the Exadata appliance

Extensive experience troubleshooting performance issues

Understanding of the process for replacing failed components of the appliance

At least 5 years of Oracle DBA experience

Strong scripting skills

Experience supporting Oracle Recovery Appliances

Knowledge of golden gate is a plus

Availability to work nights and weekends

PREFERRED SKILLS:

· Knowledge of Golden Gate

Degrees/Certifications/Years of Overall Experience Required:

· HS Diploma w/Oracle cert is ok

· Bachelor's preferred (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field)

· 5+ years of related work experience

What will separate an average candidate vs a great candidate on a resume?

· Previous financial institution experience is a plus

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Address Exadata hardware failures

Apply Exadata patches

Participate in rotating on-call off hours coverage

Field customer requests

Investigate performance issues

Who is this workers main interaction going to be with?

· Other DBAs, managers, mid-range/storage teams, MIS, and external customers

How will performance be measured?

· Feedback based; accuracy and completion of work upon deadlines

Interview Process: Manager must do at least 1 interview via video/in person.

2 rounds of interviews (3rd round if needed)
