Job Description:
Targeted Years of Experience:

5-7 years Center Engineer needed to drive the deployment of conventional and next generation core network technologies; including Access Unification, NGPON, ROADM, NGROADM, Ultra Long-Haul (ULH), OTN Mesh, MSPP, DXC and associated electronics.

Partner with stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines and schedules. Resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure internal and external commitments are met.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to recommend enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency. Drive and manage vendor and outsource teams to meet construction timelines.

Experience in Project Management is required

Proven ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels: from team members to executive management

Proven ability to negotiate and motivate others

Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation, leadership, and team orientation

Demonstrates analytic, technical, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
• Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.
• Creating Material Requests.
• Forecast future needs based on project start dates.
• Ensure proper tracking of all components.
• Monitor all equipment expenditures.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.
• Equipment Procurement & Optimization.
• Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.
• Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members. ICON, CCP and Canvas knowledge is a plus.
