Position: Hadoop Administrator

Position Location: Hybrid - 3 in-office, 2 remote

Tech Hubs Pittsburgh, PA Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, Cleveland, OH, Phoenix, AZ

Duration: Contract to hire

Candidate Technical and Skills Profile:

Describe the role and the key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing daily:

1. Attend meetings

2. Install OS, user apps

3. Administer Linux

4. Participate in additional training as needed

Must have technical skills, tools, or experience:

Ability to do research, present that, and take steps to move things in that direction

Linux experience - both building AND administration

Experience installing OS, user applications

Nice to Have:

Experience installing/working Cloudera CDP 7.1.7 or higher

Apache Spark

Spark User

Cloud Technologies

o Container

o Kubernetes

Additional Preferred:

Database administration experience (oracle, MySQL,)

building Spark Clusters using different cluster managers
