Position : Sourcing Manager - IV
Location : Bellevue, WA
Duration : 5 months initially, extendable to 18 months
At least 7 years relevant experience required;
Operates as a trusted partner with the business to deliver successful outcomes. Determines and executes a strategic direction within categories of spend. Leads and supports cross-functional sourcing projects. Drives strategic sourcing initiatives (RFX), establishes supplier relationships, leads negotiation, in addition to maintaining all commercial terms and contracts with suppliers. Builds and maintains [indirect/technology] based supplier relationships with T-Mobile, ensuring supplier performance and contract compliance.
Intake Information:
-Location - hybrid with 3-4 days in office
- Manager will prioritize candidates local to client hubs (Overland Park, Bellevue, Reston, VA as there is a possibility for conversion to hire if headcount is approved, the worker is a good fit, and can be local to a TMO hub as potential FTE. However, remote candidates will be considered should they meet all requirements. Candidate bill rates must align with location.

What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks)
Provide procurement contract support and expertise guidance to multiple business units (Operations, Development, Engineering, etc) daily for all break fix and or support related activities that come up for the life of the support agreement.
Primary POC for establishing Network CORE or RAN hardware repair support and working with the Business units, Supply Chain team, hardware sparing team, and HW repair suppliers to ensure appropriate HW break fix support. Work with OEM and 3PP repair vendors to reduce HW repair spend.
Negotiate CORE and/or RAN Maintenance & Support renewal agreements and lead RFx when required to establish new CORE and/or RAN supplier support.
Responsible for negotiations including pricing, logistics, service level guarantees, and terms with supplier including development of supplier performance criteria.
Conduct detailed market analysis to fully leverage procurement decisions in assigned category.
Establish and implement a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategy and processes with suppliers and internal business units.
Develop reporting templates to help establish a governance oversight around the SLA and KPI agreed to in the M&S agreements to hold the vendor accountable.
Partner with the BU’s to ensure appropriate vendor accountability activities (quarterly meetings, etc) are taking place
Conducting category spend analyses across vendors, platforms, products, and technology.
Work cross functionally to deliver sourcing and procurement cost savings, risk mitigation projects, and supplier enabled innovation.
Preferred background/prior work experience?
Telecom Network Experience (RAN or CORE)
Software and Hardware support contract negotiations experience
Contract drafting experience.
