Responsibilities:
- Manage database/access
- Manage AWS infrastructure
- Push ETL/Spark based jobs
Top Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Python Big data centric. Will touch some Scala based code and batch delivery via Python.
- AWS Lambda, EMR, ECS, EC2, will help manage infrastructure for apps.
- Spark/pyspark will be pushing to streaming eventually, but batch delivery
- Cassandra/Mongo pulling from cloud based DB's
Nice to Have:
- Scala some services are written in Scala, any background there is great
Required Skills : Python, AWS, Spark, Cassandra/Mongo
