SAP/ABAP technical skills

Must have skills

• Extensive experience in developing business applications using SAP ABAP programming language (ABAP Object oriented programming, Conversion programs, Dialog programs, Function Modules, etc.)
• Developing system interfaces with SAP systems using RFC, BAPI, Web services, ALE/IDOCs, File interfaces etc.
• Experience with creating custom SAP workflows, related workflow tasks and methods
• Enhancing SAP system using User exits, Customer exits and enhancement framework options
• Identifying and applying SAP notes
• Experience in developing ABAP programs and interfaces related to various SAP modules (Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Inventory management, Financial management, Asset Accounting, and Plant maintenance)

 

Other Qualifications,

• Experience in creating technical design documents from business requirements and functional design documents
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and test planning, coordination, and execution
• Ability to effectively communicate in technical and non-technical terms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong customer service skills which includes an in-depth understanding of customer business processes and needs
