Position –Data Center Technician

Location: Albuquerque New Mexico 87191

Duration: long term

 

Pay rate $25/hr on w2 + mileage
 
300 to 400 avg weekly miles 
 
Shift start time and end time?  8-5 M-F + afterhours stand-by - candidates must be willing to on call afterhours on rotation (it's compensated) 

Must have HANDS ON Smart Hands experience in data center, knowledge on router and switches, break-fix on Dell Equipment. 

 
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops and serversProvides maintenance and support on legacy productsSupports Core, server productsPerforms disk replacement on enterprise storage productsInstalls and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripheralsSupports network products from operational and maintenance perspectivesPerforms installs, moves, adds and changes as requiredTests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applicationsProvides follow-up on problems or escalation.Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.Insures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system Requested Skills:       Background in Hardware Server and /or Storage repairs, Data center experience as plus     Excellent communication skills.      Positive Attitude and mechanical aptitude to assist in troubleshooting complex.     Specific Server and Storage training will be provided    
Learn and retain proprietary processes.
