Job Description:
- Mechanical designer will perform trade studies, design layout, CREO model updates for the design
- Electrical Harness/Cable design experience is needed.
- Candidate will be expected to interface effectively with multiple functional groups including optical, structural, and thermal analyst, configuration management, electrical and mechanical designers, planning, and quality personnel during design, engineering documentation release, assembly, inspection, and test process.
- No degree required, equivalent years of experience okay.
- CREO and Pro/Cable (3D modeling, design, drafting)
- PTC Windchill.
- Experience in developing and decomposing system level and component level requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of fluid system design (fuel systems, thermal management systems, environmental control systems)
- Solid proficiency in physics-based, system modeling software (Matlab/Simulink, Siemens Amesim a plus)
- Strong grasp of system modeling best practices, system model troubleshooting
- Ability to model and assess component and system dynamic characteristics, failure modes
- Experience with 3DX / CATIA is a plus
