Customer Insights and Research
 The Customer Insights and Research team provides the voice of the customer and associate to the Company. leaders for strategy, product and experience development.  This group of best-in-class professionals delivers insight, market-leading innovation, problem-solving know-how and scalable solutions, all of which translates into a meaningful and measurable impact on the experiences, environments and outcomes that Company. creates for its customers, owners, associates, communities and shareholders.
 
Position Summary
The Consumer Insights team is looking for someone who has a passion for consumer insights and market research to join the team.  The successful candidate will partner with us to optimize the customer experience, deepen customer relationships with the Company, and accelerate sustainable growth.  A day in the life of this associate will include: analysis of survey results (including use of statistical tools), report development, verbatim coding, and support of consumer insights projects.  The ideal candidate will have a strong motivation to learn and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.  They will also need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills needed to coordinate project activities and ability to analyze and present data in a useful and compelling format. 
Additionally, the Jr. Analyst will perform system administrator functions in the Voice of the Customer survey platform to assure all users in the company have the most up to date and correct level of access to survey results, alerts and case management. 
 
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analysis and Reporting (50%)
Conduct analysis to derive insights and broader implications from survey data to support strategic report creation
Code verbatim comments received on surveys to provide depth to insights reported
Create regular reports for company stakeholders on scheduled basis
Perform ad hoc analyses on survey and operational data as requested
Insights System Administrator (45%)
Monitor survey health metrics and propose recommendations
Create or adjust dashboard views for users as business needs evolve
Monitor and assure that designated users maintain the appropriate level of access to the Voice of the Customer platform at all times
Support other organizational initiatives as required (5%)
Provide additional support as deemed necessary to the leadership team for successful completion of major launches and projects

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Specific levels of the following that are needed to perform the minimum duties of the position. 
 
Education
BS or BA degree (Business, Marketing, Statistics, Market Research, Psychology preferred) or currently enrolled and in final year
 
Technical Skills
- Data manipulation in Excel or other data package, strongly prefer additional experience in SPSS or R
- Ability to assess large volumes of qualitative data (e.g. verbatims) to determine trends
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook
- Ability to tell a concise, compelling story with data
 
Knowledge and skills
- Previous experience effectively managing multiple projects in various stages of completion
- Strong motivation to learn, willingness to be a team player, yet operate independently as required while exercising discretion and independent judgment
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure work accuracy, thoroughness, and quality
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills
- Written and verbal communication skills to execute timely and effective communication
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals in a diverse work group
- Ability to be flexible with change and adapt to changes within projects
- Passion for social sciences, psychology, statistics
- Comfortable working with and learning new technology
- Ensure data management procedures comply with standard company policies
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated excellence with manipulating tabular data (Excel), an aptitude and interest for learning advanced statistical techniques and tools, and a customer service mindset
 
Job experience
1-3 years of experience as an Analyst or equivalent
Experience managing multiple projects
 
Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
